Engineering is about the everlasting thirst for knowledge, and at IEEE-SAKEC our mission is to escalate this thirst for knowledge in terms of developments and trends in the diverse field of technology, amongst its student members. The Institute strives to be supportive and responsive to Members' needs by seeking to anticipate and manage change in ways that will benefit members and the societies in which they live. Further, the IEEE promotes public understanding and appreciation of the contributions of electrical and electronics engineers.
Conducting over 30major events in an acedemic year and currently having an active member base over 200, IEEE-SAKEC is one of the most active student branches in the Bombay Section.

Goals Of IEEE SAKEC

Setting goals is the first step in turning invisible to visible.
We here at IEEE SAKEC have a set a few goals we wish to achieve.

• PARTICIPATION:
  Winning has a value for ego, participation has a value for life.
  We hope to see maximum participation from the student at SAKEC and wish to be a bigger family each year.
  
  
• LEADERSHIP:
  With great power comes great responsibility
  We plan on creating the leaders of tomorrow who have the ability to lead , take responsibility and act accordingly.
  
  
• TEAMSPIRIT:
  Team spirit means you are willing to sacrifice personal consideration for the welfare of all.
  Team spirit, is a quality each one of us must inculcate, we make sure that the students work in groups and work as a TEAM and benefit as a TEAM.
  
  
• ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:
  You must have an academic to lead Academics
  Extra curricular activities are good ,but so are academics we aim on creating all rounders students who are not just great at extra activities but in academics too
